I was very saddened to learn that Kay had passed away. I wanted to send her a Christmas messsage and tried to call her. When I couldn't get through by phone, I checked online to find out she had passed. I am very sorry and so sad to find that news. She and I were very good friends working at Lincoln Life Insurance Company in Ft. Wayne, Indiana, many years ago. We have kept in touch, but last time I had talked to her was after she had her tube out and was talking again and trying new treatment. I will always remember her good nature and generosity. She was a very good friend to me and my husband also. I will miss her dearly and only sorry I didn't get to talk to her closer to her passing. She will be in my prayers and also her family. Janet

After I got down from the Pulpit, I so wanted to say more. We knew how much she loved her family and how much she loved her co-workers and friends.I feel honored and grateful to call her my friend. She made me laugh more times than I can count. My last conversation with Kay was short but we got to say I love you for the last time. I will miss her so much.God bless you all. You are in my thoughts and prayers. If you can hear me Kay, you were the best. I love you.

To Kay's family - I will miss her more than I can say. Kay and I worked at the St. Mary's Women's Imaging Center for years. She and I would talk, laugh and encourage each other daily. I will miss her smile, her laugh, her hugs, and the way she would always have a sweater because she hated air conditioning. You were blessed to have called her wife and mom. I was blessed to have called her friend.
