Lannie B. Martin

Lannie B. Martin of Richmond, Va., departed this life on Thursday, January 15, 2026. She was a proud graduate of Maggie L. Walker High School in Richmond and Cedar Crest College in Allentown, Pa. She retired as an educator from the Richmond Public School system. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard T. Martin; her parents, Moatier Beasley and Lucille Morgan Beasley; her stepfather, John Henry Elliott; and her brother, John Beasley. She leaves cherished memories to her twin sister, Lena Morgan (Jack); her older sister, Patricia Fleming (Edward); her nieces, Keesa Fleming, Kavis Winston, Shea Morgan; a number of great-nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and special friends. Remains rest at Bliley's Funeral Home-Chippenham Chapel, 6900 Hull Street Road, where her funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at 10:30 am. Interment to follow at Greenwood Memorial Gardens. Her family will receive friends for visitation at Bliley's on Friday, January 23, 2026, 6 to 8 p.m.
