Luther Davis Obituary

DAVIS, Luther Burette, 84, of Mechanicsville, passed away on November 18, 2023. He is survived by his loving wife, Doris; children, Glen, Stuart (Linda), and Barbara; grandchildren, Jeffrey, Kevin (Jeannie), Nicholas, Laura, Amanda (Frank), Cody (Ashley); great-grandchildren, Zoey, Zelda, Jace, Westin, Rowan; and his brother, Glen. Luther retired as a Master Machinist from Reynolds Metals. He was an all-around outdoorsman who loved working in the garden, playing golf, hunting, and fishing.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, November 29th at the Bennett Funeral Homes Mechanicsville Chapel, 8014 Lee Davis Rd., where funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, November 30th. Entombment will follow at Signal Hill Memorial Park. Online condolences may be registered at www.bennettfuneralhomes.com.
