To The Family of Malachi Walker:

I will always remember Malachi, from the first day I started working on the Police Dept. He came to me and said you donot have to worry about anything because I have your back. Even after he retired, we kept in contact with each other. I remember the day when I had to break the bad news to him that his son Bruce was killed in an accident. We loved him but God love him the best and decided to bring him to his heavenly home. Keep God in your life and everything will be okay. May God Bless You and your family.

A voice is gone, I used to know

A tender smile is still

God has called a loved one home

For death is only Gods will

Whether it be in the light of day

or in the darkness of night

Only God high above

May choose when the time is right

He loves us dearly, for He is our father

and only He knows best

When it's time for us to beckon His call

He tells us we must rest

But a day is coming, for us all

To join our loved ones who have gone

They are waiting for us in heaven above

For there love goes on and on....

We will miss you...

Your daughter in law

To the Family and Friends of Malachi.

I liked Malachi from the begining. The first day I met him he captured my attention with an infectious smile that said I want to be your friend. That's what he became. We fought a lot of bad guys together and I was always glad this giant of a man was near my side when the going got tough.

Sleep well my friend, I will see you in the morning.

I was so sorry to hear of Malachi's passing. I have some great memories of calls we handled together. Of course there was the name connection and we had some fun with that but I really respected and trusted him as a fellow officer. He was always one you could count on. He will be missed by myself and many others. God bless and comfort you.

Malachi was a great Police Officer. As a rookie many years ago he showed me how to be a friend and caring to people that we came into contact with. May God be with the family and he will be missed here on earth. But in Heaven he will always police the streets of gold.

What a power house and man. He protected me in high school, I was the quarterback @John M. Gandy and this giant was my center for four years. He protected me when he came on the Richmond Police Force because he feared no one and nothing, especially criminals. This friend will never be forgotten and he will be missed by me. God bless him and my prayers are to his family. CT

Mrs. Walker, Malachai was a very fine officer...a 'gentle giant'. I will always remember him with a bashful smile on his face. He was a pleasure to work with and have as a friend.
