Margaret Plageman Obituary

PLAGEMAN Margaret G. Plageman, 90, of Valdosta, died suddenly Monday, October 16, 2006 at her residence. Born on August 31, 1916 in Richmond, Va., she was the daughter of the late John Louis and Genoffa Nardi Gillio and was the widow of the late Gerard H. Plageman III, who died on August 11, 2006. Survivors are a daughter and son-in-law, Joan and Gil DeBiasi of Richmond, Va.; three sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry and Phyllis Plageman of Lake Wylie, S.C., Don and Anne Plageman of Valdosta, and Bob and Mary Plageman of Fort Meyers, Fla.; 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a brother, John Louis Gillio Jr. A private Funeral Mass will be on Friday, October 20, 2006 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Father John O'Brien will officiate. The committal will follow in the mausoleum at McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens. There will be a private Rosary on Thursday at the Carson McLane Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to The Hospice House of South Georgia (205 Woodrow Wilson Dr., Valdosta, Ga. 31602) or the charity of your choice.
