Margaret D. Wilson, 97, recently of Mechanicsville, Virginia, passed peacefully into the Lord's presence, with family at her side, in the early hours of March 13, 2026.
Margaret was the widow of John Douglas "Doug" Wilson. She is survived by their three sons, John F. Wilson and wife Bonnie, of Mechanicsville, David D. Wilson of Pittsburgh, Pa., and Mark M. Wilson and wife Cathy of Boone, N.C. Margaret is also survived by her devoted lifelong friend, Betty Gray Faber.
A Celebration of Life and Service of Witness to the Resurrection will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2026, at 1 p.m. at Bliley's Staples Mill, 8510 Staples Mill Road, Richmond, Virginia 23228. The family will receive visitors prior to the service, beginning at 11:45 a.m. Interment will take place immediately following the service at Forest Lawn Cemetery, 4000 Pilots Lane, Richmond, 23222.
