Margie Sculthorpe Obituary

SCULTHORPE, Margie Jean McCroskey Booher, age 90, passed away May 29, 2022, peacefully at home. Margie was preceded in death by her husband, Harry M. Sculthorpe; parents, Robert "Bob" Fredrick and Ella Worley McCroskey; son, Gregory Booher; daughter, Mitzie Booher Roark Hurd; brother, Donald McCroskey; half-brother, Hurley McCroskey; and sisters, Faye Booher, Virginia Roberts and Brenda "Tene" Carrier; and companion, Arthur Groux.

She is survived by daughters, Sharon Luker (Jay), Bobbie Jean Thomas (Bill) and Martha Smith (Al); sons, Danny Booher, James Booher, Mark Sculthorpe, Tom Sculthorpe (Michele), Richard Sculthorpe (Deb) and Scott Sculthorpe; brothers, Arthur McCroskey (Carol) and Richard McCroskey; and multiple generations of grandchildren.

Margie is a Virginia State Anatomical Donor. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Arthur McCroskey, Caretaker of Fleenors Memorial Cemetery, 16116 Jasper Creek Rd., Bristol, Va. 24202.
