Aunt Marian, the last time I saw you was at my mother's (your dear sister) funeral, and I still remember how you greeted me with warmth. Didn't see you while you were sick, and I'm sorry for that--wasn't feeling well, so I also missed your going-home event. But want you to know, I loved you in life and love you still. RIP, your niece

We will miss Aunt Marian. Our memory of Aunt Marian and our mom's store and doctor's visits will always make us smile. We remember how happy our mom was to have all of her sisters over for a fish dinner. It must be awfully hard to suffer the loss of three sisters in such a short span of time, but YHWH is in control and knows just how much we can bear. The only thing, the righteous thing, that magically happens at times like this is we realize that we (left here to endure the loss) cannot fly with one wing. We needed each other and bonded close together when we lost our sister Lora and even more secured our bond when our mom (Nina) passed, so to my aunts, Brenda, Barbara, Lillian and Uncle Man (William), you cannot fly with one wing, its' going to take all of you. I guess we will have to reschedule our last planned store run for another day. I still have your list. Thanks for always looking after my children practically every weekend over momma's house while we were cooking and just hanging out there. You stayed on them and watched every move they made but always made sure they were safe. My baby cried at the hospital when we were there Saurday because they would not let her back to see you as your breathe departed. But somehow she knew, and told me, she ok, she not sick anymore.
