Mary Trude Wallingford Marable

MARABLE, Mary Trude Wallingford (Trudy), died April 29, 2024. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Waverly Hobson Marable. She is survived by a stepson, Mike Marable; and an honorary daughter, Tammy Glenn. Mrs. Marable graduated from the University of Mississippi with a bachelor of education degree and from Virginia Commonwealth University with a master's degree in counselor education. She taught seventh grade at Tuckahoe Junior High School and was a guidance counselor at Moody Middle School. She was a member of Delta Gamma Sorority, Willow Oaks Country Club, Tuckahoe Woman's Club and First Presbyterian Church.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Westminster Canterbury Richmond, 1600 Westbrook Avenue, Richmond, on Wednesday, June 26, at 11 a.m., in the Sanctuary of the Spiritual Center. A reception will follow on the Roof Terrace. Guests are encouraged to come early to allow for parking.
