Maxwill H. Inman II, age 81, went to be with the Lord on July 15, 2024. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Joanne; daughter, Kelly Inman Johnston; son, David Raymond; and grandchildren, Sydney Taylor and Evan Johnston. He was proceeded in death by his parents, Maxwill H. Inman. Sr. and Francis Davis Inman; grandmother, Doris Davis; and his uncle, Edward Davis. Max was born and raised in Richmond; went to John Marshall HS and graduated from George Wythe HS. Max lived a life filled with adventure and full of life. He was an Eagle Scout, built a helicopter at the age of 16, and spent 42+ years working for DuPont before retiring and then being rehired by DuPont as a Vibration Analyst contractor. His many adventures in life were, an accomplished Scuba Diver, and then becoming a dive instructor that taught the instructors; his love of guns and shooting gave him the opportunity to become a trophy winning competition shooter and allowed him to open his own security company to teach gun safety. Max also had a love of flying, he started with his own single engine piper and continued to become a multi-engine Instrument Flight Instructor. With his love of cars and motorcycles, we traveled all over showing the 38 Chevy and his Harley sent us on many adventures. He spent the last 15+ years working with the Chesterfield Citizen's Academy in working with Chesterfield Police in the training of recruits and dogs.

The family is having a Celebration of Life on Saturday, August 3, 2024, at Bella's Italian Restaurant, at 6407 Iron Bridge Road, Richmond, VA, 23234 starting at 3 p.m. Please come and join us with your stories of Max.
