Michael Cooper Obituary

COOPER, Michael Thomas, 34, of Ruther Glen, died suddenly Sunday, January 29, 2023, at his home. Born in North Carolina, he was an IT engineer at Capital One. He graduated from Liberty University where he met the Love of his Life, Emily Sharp Cooper. In addition to his wife, Emily; he is survived by his children, Graham and Natalie; his parents, Jerry and Barbara Cooper; a brother, Mark Cooper; a sister, Sarah McDonald. A Celebration of Life will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, February 5, 2023 at Storke Funeral Home, Bowling Green. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. My deepest condolences at the death of your Michael. My baby boy Kevin, at 3 1/2 years old died in 1998. My heart breaks for you. I am also The Compassionate Friends Fredericksburg Chapter Leader which is a self-help support group for all bereaved parents, siblings and grandparents who have lost a child. I am here for you if you need me. Praying for you all.
