I am so very sorry for your loss. I met Mike only once through Scotty and Betsy, and remember only his kindness and good nature. His death is a tragedy in the truest sense of the word. Amy, Betsy and I will be here for you. Love, Brenda

Iam not sure if you remember me or not, but I worked for VA. Cancer Inst. You were so positive from the very beginning and wanted only the very best for Mike. He had so much courage and strength with your help. How blessed he was to have you. My prayers and thoughts are with you.

Amy, although we did not really get the chance to get to know Mike that well as we only met him a couple of times but we knew from the moment you came to our cookout with that ring on your finger that it was meant to be--you were beaming! We were so happy for you guys but now so sorry it was short although sweet and true. You are an amazing, strong woman and many of us could only hope to be half that! I know Mike was so loved and that speaks volumes of you as well. He chose a fine woman and you chose a fine man. Hang in there strong lady.

"Mr. Mike" was always a joy to talk to, the neighborhood children will miss him dearly, he was always there with great advice for the kids and his dogs were great entertainment for my daughter. He will never be forgotten!
