Michael Rogers Obituary
He is survived by his parents Terry and George William "Bill" Jones; brothers, Claiborne Rogers (Cynthia), Brian Rogers (Renee) and David Lee Jones; sister, Penny Napier; nephews, Josiah and Ethan Rogers and Scott Fortner; niece, Hailee Napier and many extended family and friends.
He was born in Petersburg and raised in Waverly, Virginia. After high school he attended Virginia Tech and obtained his degree. Mike worked for the Defense Logistics Agency under the Department of Defense. He will be greatly missed for his laughter, practical jokes and fun-loving spirit.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, February 3, 2024 at Waverly Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116. R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home and Crematory, Wakefield Chapel is serving the family. Condolences may be registered at RWBakerFH.com.
