I can remember vividly Michele and I going to see Tom Jones in concert at the Cape Cod Melody tent. She was wild that night; singing, screaming and dancing. I am sure few saw that side of her. I was priviledge to share times like that with her--fun and happy, laughing the whole time. We were old friends that started in the same city and both moved far away--the direction our lives took us. Michele, "With one "l"" she would remind me all the time, will be greatly missed, sadly-remembered, and never forgotten. I truly am grief stricken and remain in somewhat a state of shock. I'll always wonder what more she would have and could have accomplished with the rest of her life. Her passing has been life changing for so many. Her memory will forever stay in my heart and many others. I had bought and gave Michele a bible about 7 years ago and was glad to hear she had been reading it recently. I hope she came to know God and is safe and at peace in HIS arms now. I hope all her pain is gone. Ken, you are in my thoughts and prayers--call anytime. Lot's of Love, Kathy (Kathleen per Michele).

A great loss to medicine and law. Michele was dedicated and caring and a role model to nurses. The Hume-Lee Transplant Center at MCV will miss her deeply.
