Nancy Harrold Kohman

KOHMAN, Nancy Harrold, 93, passed away on Monday, March 20, 2023 in Midlothian, Va. She was born in Pittsburgh, Pa., the daughter of Maurice J. and Lona M. (Buckley) Harrold. Following high school graduation, Nancy attended Chatham College where she earned a degree in education. Nancy met and married Wayne Kohman while he was working at Westinghouse in Pittsburgh, Pa. Nancy and Wayne raised three children while living first in New Jersey and then Connecticut. Nancy had a lifelong passion for gardening that was passed on to her by her parents and grandparents. She also enjoyed time spent at the family lake house in New Jersey, at bridge club meetings and gourmet group gatherings. Nancy was a preschool teacher for many years at what is now known as the Children's Day School of Wilton and was an active member and Deacon in the Wilton Presbyterian Church. Nancy is survived by her sons, David Kohman (Kim) of Midlothian, Va. and Don Kohman (Angel) of Vernon, N.J.; her daughter, Patricia Andrews (Bill) of Lynchburg, Va.; four grandchildren, Matt Kohman (Brittany), Katie Whitaker (Michael), Macy Andrews and William Kohman; and great-granddaughter, Grace Whitaker. A service will be held prior to interment at the Wilton Presbyterian Memorial Garden at a future date.
