Nancy "Carol" Pavey Loving, 81, of Mechanicsville, Va., passed away on September 24, 2025. She was born on May 5, 1944, in Richmond, Va., to the late Nancy Pavey Lawson and Clarence Cosby Pavey.
Carol was the devoted wife of Arthur "Vonnie" Loving Jr.; beloved mother of Arthur "Monte" Loving III (Cathy), Mark Loving (Jen), and Susan "Noelle" Loving; and cherished grandmother of Emily (Griffin) Smith, Catie Loving, Caroline Loving, Rhett (Libby) Loving, and Mark Loving Jr. She was also the proud great-grandmother of Everett Loving, Jr.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Mechanicsville Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 8014 Lee-Davis Rd. Funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m. Thursday, October 2, 2025, at Shalom Baptist Church, Mechanicsville, with interment to follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. A fellowship meal will be held at the church in her honor, and all are welcome to attend.
Carol will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
