Olen Sikes Obituary
February 23, 1935 - February 7, 2026
Olen Sikes, 90, of West Point, passed away on February 7, 2026. He is survived by his wife, Mary Montague Hudson Sikes; and daughters, Mary Alicia Sikes and Amy Montague Sikes; and his sister, Beatrice Rose Sikes Brisbane. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Allison Marolen Sikes and parents, Mary Evelyn Rose Sikes and Herman Sikes.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m., Friday, February 13 at West Point United Methodist Church, 1020 Main St., West Point, VA. Interment will follow in Sunny Slope Cemetery, West Point. Tributes may be posted at www.vincentfh.com.

Olen and I grew up together in First Baptist Church until Mary Montague took him to the Methodist Church as it should be for couples to worship together. Olen was always very smart. In fact he was the one that was well informed about so much and would tell you about it! He was very special in our youth group!
Prayers for his family. May your wonderful memories sustain you until you meet again!
