Oliver Crump Obituary

Oliver Franklin Crump, 73, of Charles City departed this life suddenly, September 26, 2003. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Lillian C. Crump; two children, Ronald Crump (friend, Annette) and Kevin Crump (friend, Elaine); five stepchildren, Gerald Carter, Janet Crawley (Cornelius Jr.), Delcenia Prentiss (Ruffin Jr.), Diane Allen and Kathy Jones (Vance); one granddaughter, Logahn Crump; ten step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three brothers, Cecil, Alfred and Sydney Crump; seven sisters, Juanita White, Thelma White, Julia Keeton, Mable Cotman, Viola Armstead, Bernice Whiting and Doris Parker; five sisters-in-law; three brothers-in-law; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mr. Crump served in the United States Army and was a retired federal government employee of Ft. Eustis Military Base. His remains rest at J. Leroy Charity Funeral Home, Charles City. At 11 a.m. Wednesday, Mr. Crump will rest at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, Providence Forge where services will be held 1 p.m. Rev. Raymond Otey officiating. Interment Union Cemetery off Highway 155, Charles City. No church repass following interment.
