Orville Duff Obituary
He is preceded in death by his parents George Duff and Inez Pittman; sisters Faye Mullins, Marion Tinsley and Doris (Tootsie) Drewitt; brothers George (Bubba) Duff and Jimmy Duff.
He is survived by his wife of 44 Years Charlotte Gibson Duff; son Daniel Duff (Maria); daughter Holly Duff (RJ). He is also survived by seven grandchildren Troy (Victoria), Brandon, Zachary, Nikki (David), Nicholas (Kamryn), Amanda (Phillip) and Kyle; 12 great grandchildren; his sister Barbara Hensley (Lee); brother Stuart Duff (Sandra) and many nieces and nephews. He served as a deacon at Mattaponi Baptist Church; worked as a service technician for more than 50 years. Pete is also a Military Veteran who faithfully served his country for 37 years. He set the example of what faith and hard work were. Pete loved to go fishing, playing his guitar and singing, never saw a Western or Christmas movie he didn't like. Keeping his truck clean and spotless he took pride in. Pete, daddy, papa will always be loved and missed by many.
Visitation will be held at BW White Funeral Home, 7837 Richmond Tappahannock Hwy, Aylett, VA 23009 on Wednesday, August 16, 2023, 5 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Mattaponi Baptist Church, 13466 The Trail, King and Queen Courthouse, VA 23085 on Thursday, August 17, 2023, at 12 p.m. with family receiving visitors 1 hour prior to service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Regional Animal Shelter, 20201 King William Road, King William, VA 23056, in memory of Orville "Pete" Duff.
