Phillip Chalkley Obituary

Phillip Allen Chalkley, 61, of Richmond, died March 17, 2005. He is survived by his wife, Sylvia R. Chalkley; his daughter, Kim McElroy and her husband, Kevin; two brothers, Edward and Robert Chalkley; one sister, Sandra E. Jones; three grandchildren, Kevin Jr., Haleigh and Skye McElroy. His remains rest at the Bliley Funeral Homes' Staples Mill Chapel, 8510 Staples Mill Rd. where the family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Monday at Greenwood Memorial Gardens.

To the Family of Phillip Chalkley:



I worked with Phillip,Robert and Ida for many years at Duplex Envelope. He was a very nice person. I was very sorry to hear of his home going. My prayers are with his family. Please take comfort in knowing that weepith endureth for a night, but joy comes in the morning.

I am so sorry to hear of Phil's passing. I worked with him for a long time at Duplex Envelope Company. He was a wonderful Machinist and a great co-worker and friend. Sorry I missed the service - I just returned from Florida.
