It is with regret that I just learned today of Rachel's passing. I had known her from high school, Beulah Church and Deerwood. My deceased husband, Aubrey (Sonny Taylor) had known her for from elementary school. The Taylors and Holmes familes had grown up together and upon retirement the guys went to lunch on a regular basis. I visited Rachel while in the nursing home and took her a lily. She wrote me the sweetest note and said she was planning to be going into Assisted Living soon.
Rachel was a sweet lady and will be missed by all who knew her. My love to all of you.
