Raymond Brindle Obituary

BRINDLE, Raymond Lee, 76, of Richmond, VA, was reunited in heaven with his wife of over 54 years, Gail Atkins Brindle. He is also preceded in death by his parents, George and Louise Bailey; and sister, Wanda Kidd. He is survived by his daughters, Constance Brindle, Kristina Lamb (Ed), Kristie Brindle, and Megan Brindle; grandchildren, Colin Lamb, Kennedy Lamb, and Eva Lamb; and his faithful canine companion, Remie. Raymond was a kind man who truly enjoyed helping others, and retired after decades of service from the USPS, where he also acted as a union representative. He had a passion for racing, and worked in a pit crew for Roy Hendrick, and when he wasn't working on real cars, enjoyed model ones as well. Raymond above all cherished his family, especially his grandchildren, and loved to be with them outdoors camping or relaxing at Myrtle Beach, SC.

The family will receive friends 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., Monday, November 13, 2023 at Bliley's, 8510 Staples Mill Road in Richmond. A Celebration of his life will follow there 12:30 p.m., Tuesday, November 14. Interment in Signal Hill Memorial Park. For condolences, see www.blileys.com.
