Raymond Lee Hooper, 76, of Powhatan, Passed away on November 18th, 2024. Survived by his wife of 48 years, Joyce Hooper. Sons Chris and Cale Hooper (Jennifer). Grandchildren Lauren, C.J., Brooklynn, and Preston Hooper. Ray was predeceased in death by a son Richie Hooper.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, November 21 at 1 p.m., at Bennett and Barden Funeral Home. Online condolences may be made at Bennettbardenfh.com.

Ray (he was Raymond Lee to me) and I were cousins but grew up like siblings. Geography separated us, so our visits were few but we stayed in touch. I was so happy he met and married Joyce and had his beautiful, loving family which he so richly deserved. I will miss you and love you always. Bobbi
