Reginald Batterson Obituary
Reginald Noah Batterson, 90 of Powhatan, VA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 4, 2026. He was preceded in death by his parents, Reginold Noah Batterson, Sr., and Margaret Short Batterson; his sister, Laura Croom of Lunenburg County, Bracey, VA; and his son, Mark Batterson of Henrico, VA. He is survived by his son, Paul Batterson (Valerie) of Amelia, VA; grandchildren, Noah, Issac, and Gabriel. Reginald joined the Air National Guard after High School. He was always a hard worker and had a lot of good friends. He was a member of the Steam & Pipe Fitters Union, Local #10, for 70 years, and this past summer was honored as being the oldest living member.
The family will receive friends from Monday, January 12th, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Bennett & Barden Funeral Home at 3215 Anderson Hwy in Powhatan, where a funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. and burial at Old Powhatan Baptist Church. Online condolences may be made at Bennettbardenfh.com

I knew Reggie many years ago through Bob´s Hobby Center. We flew a lot of free flight planes together. I sure miss those carefree days. He is always in my thoughts.
