Robert Batterson Obituary

Bob graduated from Coldwater High School and went on to proudly serve his country in the US Army. He was a lifelong farmer and drove truck for Tri-State Waste and Waste Management. Bob was a member of South Litchfield Baptist Church.
Surviving besides his wife of 62 years, Inge is a daughter, Arleen (Chris) Sattler of Concord; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Dale Batterson.
A memorial service for Robert Batterson will be held Thursday, September 18, 2025 at 1:00 PM at the South Litchfield Baptist Church in Litchfield with Pastor Jay Chambers officiating. Visitation will be held from 12 Noon until the time of service at the church. Burial will be take place at Fort Custer National Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to the Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel in Litchfield.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Hillsdale County Medical Care Facility or South Litchfield Baptist Church.
