Pastor Reginald Maurice Minor

MINOR, Pastor Reginald Maurice, of Chester, Va., transitioned from labor to reward on Friday, January 8, 2021, at Johnston-Willis Hospital. He was born to the late George and Juliann Minor. He was preceded in death by his father, George Minor Sr. He was a loving husband, father, son and brother. He was the founder and Senior Pastor of Better Life Church, in Chester, Va. He was employed with BB&T Investments as a Financial Advisor for over 20 years and a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. Pastor Reginald's hobbies included spending time with his family, studying the word of God, watching sports, playing golf, traveling and cooking. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving and devoted wife, Earnestine Minor; two devoted daughters, Courtney and Kayla; one devoted goddaughter, Demetress Stringfield; a loving mother, Juliann Minor; five brothers, Elder Walter (Trina), George Jr., Kevin (Cheryl), David and Eric Minor; four sisters, Shelia Williams, Brenda Minor, Claudia Pollard and Carolyn Minor-Daughtry; three sisters-in-law, Patricia Brown (Allen Sr.), Shirley Reese (Nathan Sr.) and Debbie Hargrove (Immanuel); three brothers-in-law, Clarence Jr. (Roselyn), Carl Sr. (Settion) and Bishop Ron Stringfield Sr. (DeAndria); two uncles, Gary and Erle Robinson (Maretha); one aunt, Joyce Allen; and a host of cousins, nephews, nieces and friends. Remains rest at Walter J. Manning Funeral Home, 700 N. 25th St., where viewing will take place Thursday, January 14, 2021, from 12 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at United Nations International Church, 214 Cowardin Ave., Richmond, Va., on Friday, January 15, 2021, at 12 noon. Interment Sunset Memorial Park.
