Robert Dutton Obituary
October 13, 1941, to Robert Earl Dutton and Florence Herring Dutton. He graduated high school from the American Community School in Beirut, and served with the U.S. Air Force.
Bob began his career in broadcasting and audio-visual work. In mid-life, he graduated from New Orleans Theological Seminary, was ordained as a Baptist minister and focused the rest of his life on discipleship training and missions through writing, speaking and teaching. He also volunteered at the International Mission Board, First Russian Baptist Church of Richmond and regularly performed with the On The Air Radio Players.
He is survived by his wife, Ann Ford Dutton; two children, Gene Dutton and Stephanie Welborn; two stepdaughters, Laura Stowers and Christy Pitts; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on December 17 at 2 p.m. at Salem Baptist Church in Manakin-Sabot, Va., which will also be livestreamed via YouTube. Inurnment will be December 28 at Lake Junaluska, N.C.

Heaven has gained an angel with the passing of Bob. I will never forget his many kind words, actions and deeds during the time I knew him. A humble man of strong faith-he will be missed by all who knew him.
