Robert "Bobby" Williams Moody, 67, of Midlothian, VA, passed away on Monday, August 12, 2024. Bobby is preceded in passing by his parents, Thomas and Shirley Moody. Bobby is survived by his daughters, Jessica Giles (Felix), Jennifer Walker (Scott), Cierra Moody (MyShan), and Montana Moody (Phillip); his grandchildren, Selina, Jasmine, and Jayden Giles; his brother, Thomas Moody; his sister, Marcie Holzbach; and his grandpups, Bean and Queso. Bobby was a devoted Denny Hamlin fan, keeping up with all the races. Bobby was always doing one of three things, crackin' a joke, crackin' a beer, and crackin' open some peanuts while watching the Flying Squirrels. Bobby was a warm and welcoming soul who never met a stranger. When he wasn't selling cars or watching the Flying Squirrels game, you could find him fishing at his spot, his place to relax.
A Celebration of Life will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, August 17, 2024, at Bliley's - Chippenham, 6900 Hull Street Rd. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service time. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Flying Squirrels Charities, Flying Squirrels Charities | Flying Squirrels (milb.com) in Bobby's name.
