Robert Prather

1958 - 2026

Robert Brian Prather passed away at home on February 23, 2026, at age 67. Born March 20, 1958, in New Orleans, LA, Brian graduated from Midlothian High School before joining the U.S. Army 4th 68th Armor, Airborne Division. He worked tirelessly as a diesel technician to support his family and was a treasured member of the Mt. Hermon Baptist Church Congregation. He is survived by his wife, Susan, his son, Adam (Adrian), his daughter, Lindsey (Tommy) Beekman, his precious grandchildren, Aidan and Henry, his sisters, Susan and Gail (Dave), his brother, Stuart (Susan), and their children, his beloved nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at Mt. Hermon (18100 Genito Rd.) on Saturday, March 14th at 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
