Robert Alan Sharp

SHARP, Robert Alan, 54, of Goochland (formerly of Sandston), passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, April 2, 2023. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Fred and Mary Sharp, Kenneth and Clara Lane; father, Eddie; and brother, John. Robert was an avid fisherman who enjoyed fixing just about anything and woodworking. He loved to listen to music and spend quality time with his family and friends. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Sandy; mother, Jean; son, Nathan (Lindsey); brother, Richard (Karen); sister-in-law, Teresa; stepsons, Josh and Justin; nephews, Jason, Jeffery, Matthew, BJ and Stephen; great-nephew, Jayce; his best fishing buddy and granddaughter, Marley; grandchildren, Levi and Ava; the best dog ever, Hooch; best buddies, Reggie Mays and Kevin Parrish; as well as many others he considered family and his friends. A celebration of Robert's life will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va. 23231.
