Ronald Kallman Obituary

Ronald Stephen Kallman

May 28, 1946 - September 16, 2025

RONALD STEPHEN KALLMAN left us on September 16, 2025 surrounded by friends and family after a brief, fierce battle with cancer. He was born on May 28, 1946 in Richmond, VA. Ronnie attended East Carolina University before serving in the U.S. Army as a Signals Intelligence Analyst. He began his career in the family business operating a children's clothing store, Youth Town. He went on to be Controller and Vice President of Teal Building Corporation. Ronnie was recently predeceased by his loving wife of 27 years, Louise Marie Oleniacz. They built a beautiful life together that included traveling, birdwatching and beach music. Ronnie was a fantastic dad who taught his children the importance of hard work, organization, and comedy. He loved a good joke and wasn't afraid to make a bad one. Ronnie loved lists, spreadsheets and statistics. He was genuinely kind and his mustache was legendary. A life long ECU Pirates Fan, Ronnie enjoyed tailgating and attending football games with his college buddies of over 60 years. Ronnie was also predeceased by his sister, Ann Kallman Olvey. He is survived by his children, Lee Kallman (Faith) and Monica Moehring (Tim); his stepchildren, Kathleen McCulley (Brian Scalf) and Colin McCulley (Marie); his grandchildren, Annalise, Sander, Brantley, and Pierson.

A private service will be held for friends and family. Donations can be made in his memory to the V Foundation. https://donate.v.org/
