Ron was a very special friend during my time at mcv school of pharmacy. We had a lot of good times together which would be too long to put in this message. Ron was in my wedding in May 1978 and we shared many ballgame experiences and other great times. A lot of you know Ron was an athlete but you didn´t probably know that he and I and others played Ice hockey in Richmond on a school ice hockey team with some great memories. Ron was an excellent skater and I couldn´t skate very well so I played goalie and Ron was a wing. Well played against Ralph Small one of the instructors who played semipro in Canada and had some great time playing hockey in the Robins center.Ron will be sorely missed by me and many others. God bless Ron for all his service in Vietnam and his great fun times that many had with Pumpsie. Randall Fansler P-76

Ron was my brother-in-law (married to my sister Nancy for many many years). I have good memories of Ron including making a bet w/him on the PSU/Miami game (I think in '87) and I won - our bet was a beer at The Jefferson Hotel. In '05, Ron & Nancy, our sister Kate, and I all flew to Fairfield, California to visit our oldest sister and her family; we had a blast touring Napa wine country and other sights. One weekend at a family get-together at our sister Kate's in Western Maryland, Ron, my husband, and a bunch of the guys all played basketball, and we all got a good laugh about how out of shape they were at the time. In 2000, we had a family get-together at Ron and Nancy's in Chesterfield and Ron acted as tour guide in Richmond for us out-of-towners - he could have been a professional tour guide. Ron was a true southern gentleman, standing when a woman came into the room, things like that. May God bless Ron.

Thank you for being a great Step Father, Father-in-Law and for being such a great Pappy to your 4 Grandchildren, Dennis, Lindsay, Sean and Matthew and 3 Great Grandchildren Truly, Guy and Ginny. While you may not have been married when God took you home, your 30 years with Nancy left a big impression. You will be missed dearly

I worked with Ronnie at AARP pharmacy years ago. He was such a nice man.
