When I started coaching Little League in Sandston roughly 25 years ago, I saw Ronnie at almost every Little League game there was whether it was a weekend or a weekday, he was there or I would see him walking to a ball field. He was an absolute icon in Sandston for years. It may have been the Shake Shop, ball field, baseball game, it was like he was everywhere. Almost everyone knew Ronnie in some way. You knew it was going to be a good day if you saw him. He was and still is a great presence in Sandston. He touched many a people and it was great seeing him all those years. My prayers go to the family.
