Roy Props Obituary
Roy graduated from North Carolina State University in 1971 with the goal of helping others, making his community a better place, and bringing joy wherever he went. Roy married Karen (Stephenson) in 1987, and they raised two children, Andrew and Michael, in a home filled with love and laughter.
The simple things brought Roy the most joy. He loved spending time outdoors, sports, visiting new places, and creating new things. But his role as a father is what he cherished most. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and friend.
Following his wishes, there will not be a public service, but a private Celebration of Life.
In lieu of flowers, we invite contributions to The Musella Foundation for Brain Tumor Research (or The Brain Tumor Charity).

Karen, Andrew, Michael and Family,
Prayers and condolences to you all. We are so sorry to read of Roy's passing. We remember him as a kind and thoughtful man. We enjoyed the times we spent together when our boys played baseball at Varina Recreation and Henrico High School. May God bless all of you.
