My family and I are very sorry to hear about Bid, but he spoke of how wonderful his wife was and I know they are together now. I am just sorry I was not able to meet her as well. If she was half as sweet, kind and loving as Bid I`m sure I would have loved her as well. For the ones that don't remember me I am that first grade teacher that taught at Crewe Primary and worked at Bradshaw's Too (where I met Bid)

You are in my thoughts and prayers.

I worked with Sam on the board of the VA Heartland Bluegrass Assoc. where he was one of the original board members. His dedication to our organization and his love of bluegrass music was boundless. I shall always remember Sam as a dear, sweet man and always a true gentleman, and I feel most blessed to have had the privilege to have him be a part of my life.
