I just learned about Sherry's passing. I am so sorry to hear this sad news. He was one of my closest friends growing up 2 blocks away from each other in Highland Park and in the same class for 8 years at St. Elizabeth School.
I feel fortunate to have received a call from Sherry in March to reminisce, and he told me he probably had less than a year left to live.
To all the family, I am truly sorry and I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

Lynn, Bryan, and Cody,
The tide recedes but leaves behind
Bright seashells on the sand.
The sun goes down but gentle warmth
Still lingers on the land.
The music stops and yet it lingers on
In sweet refrain.
For every joy that passes,
Something beautiful remains.
We are praying for peace and healing in your hearts. May God comfort you in your time of need and may you rest knowing that Sherry is whole again. It's not goodbye, it is only "I'll see you later."
