Sidney Tudor Obituary

TUDOR, Sidney A. Jr., died suddenly at his home on January 29, 2009 at age 84. Sid proudly served in WWII in the 9th Air Force Division of the U.S. Air Force, and served faithfully at Matoaca United Methodist Church. Sid is survived by wife, Dot, of 47 years; sons, David, Paul and Thomas E. Tudor; stepsons, John and Barry Tucker; many grandchildren; and brother, Linwood. He was predeceased by his son, Robert. Sid requested his body be donated to the Virginia State Anatomical Program. A memorial service was held on Sunday, February 1, 2009 in Matoaca.

Our thoughts are with you and your family. I am especially thankful that Paul was able to get Uncle Sid down to visit Dad recently. I know that Dad cherished the time they had together.

My condolences to the Family. Sorry to hear about Sydney. Our Families were friends all the way back to the "Old Dog HILL" days and Monumental Baptist Church. I know he will be missed.
