Stephanie Larry Obituary

Stephanie Roberts Larry

January 8, 1973 - July 19, 2024

Stephanie Roberts Larry, 51, of Charleston, S.C. died peacefully July 19, 2024 after a courageous battle with cancer. She is survived by her loving husband of 19 years Todd Alden Larry, her parents Vernon and Peggy Roberts of Richmond, Va., her "Aunt Dee" of Rice, Va., her "Uncle Willie" of South Hill, Va. and cousins Jaimee Clary, Clint, Tara, Emma, Hudson and Everly Lewis, and of course her beloved sweet furry Fenway. The family would like to express our thanks to Crescent Hospice of North Charleston for their compassionate care. Stephanie was truly an outstanding individual who touched many lives and will be greatly missed by all who knew her, especially her "California Closets" family. Her meticulous planning ensured that every event was a resounding success. Stephanie's excellence, diligence, and compassion shone through in everything she did. She will be missed by more than words can express.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Charleston Animal Society.

A celebration of Life service will be at a later date in Charleston, South Carolina and in Richmond, VA.

I worked with Stephanie for a short time, when CA Closets placed advertising with my magazine, Sactown Magazine in Sacramento, CA, I was saddend to learn of her passing. Although we never met, she was such a pleasure to work with, so positive, and kind, and we often talked of our four legged babies! My sympathy to her family and frineds.

Steph was truly a force of nature. Full of life, kind to all and a leader among her peers. The outpouring of support and condolences during her last few months speaks volumes about the person she was and how much she meant to her friends. A hard battle fought with courage and grace. Rest peacefully Steph.

Stephanie always had a bright smile and infectious laugh. Even though we ran in different circles at school she always treated me with respect and kindness. She will be deeply missed by her Cougar classmates. She was a sweet soul.

Stephanie & I were classmates at Collegiate. We had many classes together and she was a much better student than me. What I most recall about Steph is her smile & a kindness which made her so beautiful. She made the world a better place and it goes without saying that she will be missed. My condolences to her family for their loss. Sincerely,
Harrison Jamison
