Suji Theogaraj Obituary

Suji Theogaraj, a beautiful and joyful soul, went to be with the Almighty on August 26, 2025. She was the loving and cherished first daughter of the late Dr. Sam Dawson Theogaraj and Dr. Janaki Theogaraj. She leaves behind her loving mom, her only sister Sashi Theogaraj who she loved dearly and a host of uncles, aunts and cousins who were very fond of her as well.
Suji will always be remembered for her love of children, music, animals and birds. She graduated from VCU with a Masters in Social Work. She was passionate about helping people and she strived towards making their lives better by simply being herself.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Suji's honor to St. Jude's Research Hospital and/or Richmond SPCA and/or Audubon Society.

Suji was a good friend to me back in high school at Trinity. I have good memories of fun times we had. She was indeed kind and joyful. I am very sorry to learn of her passing. Sending my condolences to her family.
