Taylor Marie Harding

HARDING, Taylor Marie, affectionately known as "Tiggy," departed this life on Sunday, July 4, 2021 at her family home in Richmond, Va. She was 17 years old and a recent high school graduate of John Marshall High School, Class of 2021. Taylor was employed at Einstein Brothers Bagel Shop. Born in Durham, N.C. on August 3, 2003, to Victoria and Duane Harding, Taylor was always known as her mother's "Blessed Baby." As a bright young woman blessed with a deeply compassionate and empathetic soul, Taylor was also subject to depression, which she valiantly battled for many years. Taylor is survived by her mother, Victoria Harding; her older brothers, Roy and Joshua Toston; her maternal grandmother, Elaine Taylor-Johnson; her maternal grandfather, Cleveland Taylor Jr.; aunts, Tiara Taylor and Racquel Dark; uncles, Isaac Taylor and Cleveland Hargrove; cousins, Tyrell, Kiara and Kennedy; her father, Duane J. Harding; paternal grandmother, Rosa Harding; best friend, Feyene Farrell; and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her godfather, Alphonso White. A viewing will be held Wednesday, July 14, 2021, 5 p.m. at Mimms Funeral Home, 1827 Hull Street. Memorial services will be held on Friday, July 16, 2021 at 1 p.m. in the Mimms Funeral Home Chapel followed by a repast to be held at 1802 East Belt Boulevard, Richmond, Va. All are welcome.
