Theodore Kuester Obituary
February 12, 1948 - October 22, 2024
Theodore, "Ted," Kuester, 76, passed away peacefully at home on October 22, 2024, surrounded by his beloved family. Ted was an insurance agent and business owner, avid musician and cyclist, and CASA advocate. Ted touched many lives in the community with his work in schools, youth sports, and especially through his love of playing music.
Ted was very passionate about his wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchild as well as extended family. He was always there for them and known for being the first text in the morning on any special occasion. Sarcasm and humor were his love language and he passed these gifts on to his children and grandchildren.
Ted was preceded in death by his parents, Frederick and Mona Kuester, sister Marie Collins, and brother Frederick "Googie" Kuester, Jr.
Ted is survived by his loving wife, Robin, who was unwavering in her support and care, his daughter Mandy (Robyn Ginsberg), sons Eric (Kris), Ryan (Courtny), and Justin Hill (Keyri). He was Pop Pop to 9 grandchildren, Megan, Calen, Sydney Farrar (Casey), Emory, Greyson, Ephraim "Remy", Maia, Jordan, and Carter, and Great Pop Pop to Emilia. His grands were his pride and joy.
A Celebration of Life will be held on October 27, 2-4 pm at the Capital Trail entrance at Dorey Park, Pavilions 1 and 2.

Teddy was a wonderful friend to the Meade family for over 60 years. He was always a joy to be around, and and there are lots of fond memories of him and the many years he was best friend to brother Curtis. A special memory is the time we played music together with his band Four of a Kind. Ted will be missed... May he rest in peace.

What a wonderful person he was and will be missed. We did not see each other in the past few years but he was never forgotten. Some of our best memories are with Teddy and his family. So very sorry for your loss.

Ted was a great friend and also father to our son-in-law. He would always make you laugh. He was a man of many talents. He could play many different instruments, sing and loved to dance. So many wonderful memories. We will really miss him. Love and sympathy to his family whom everyone knew how much he loved and cared for.
