Christen, I know you won't recognize my name, but I've seen you at least once a year for quite a few years at the North River Family "get together" every October. You have grown into quite a young lady and I know you were your Dad's pride and joy. He was a good police officer, good Detective, good all around guy with a great sense of humor and love for life. Time will take the hurt from your heart, but will never remove him from your mind. Wishing you the very best.

Mary and all of the Mann family,

We were so sorry to hear about Tommy. I remember Tommy from our John Marshall days walking down the halls with a smile on his face. Steve has many other memories of Tommy from JM and also when he was with Richmond City Police Dept. and Steve was with Henrico County Police Dept. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family. I will keep you on our prayer list at church. Please let us know if there is anything we can do for you during this very difficult time.

All Our Love,
Steve, Sue & Hollie

From the entire Brennan family we would like to extend our sympathy to the Mann family. We all grew up together in Highland Park. I was close friends with Mary and remember my visits to Mary's house and seeing Tommy in his police uniform. We lost our brother Bobby last year and understand how difficult a time this is for all of you. Please know that all of you are in our thoughts and prayers.
Rest in Peace Tommy.

What the paper didn't say, and TC Mann was to humble a guy to say it, was that he rescued three people from a burning apartment on West Grace St. in 1979. I know, I was there. TC Mann and his partner entered the apartment three times and saved three people from a horrible death.
When he walked into a room, he lit the room up with his cheerfulness. He was a nice person.
The paper said "He went to be with the Lord." I believe every word of that. TC Mann will spend his first Christmas Day with his Savior. Praise be to God.
May God be with the family and remember Amazing Grace, "When we've been there 10,000 years." 10,ooo years to God is but a blink of the eye to us. Take care.
