Thomas Hall Rockhold, Sr.

Thomas Hall Rockhold, Sr., (Tom) of Richmond, Virginia, died on Tuesday, September 30, 2025. Tom is survived by his loving wife of over 41 years, Pamela Burner Rockhold; children, Kimberly Rockhold (Duncan), Lille, France, Whitney Rockhold (Tony), Louisa, VA, Aiden Rockhold (Dwight), Rancho Cucamonga, CA, and Thomas Rockhold, Jr. (Ashley) of Fletcher, NC; two grandchildren, Isabella Corey and Memphis Machalinski and many loving relatives and friends.

Tom was born in Charleston, West Virginia to Frank and Edna Rockhold and lived there until 1968 after completing his military obligation with the U. S. Air Force. He then relocated to Richmond, Virginia to begin a law enforcement career that lasted for over 40 years. He began his career as a Richmond Police Officer and later retired as a Federal Probation Officer with the U. S. District Court, Richmond, Virginia in 1997. He then continued in his career as a Background Investigator for a federal agency for another 15 years. Tom is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University in law enforcement. Tom is a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Richmond, Virginia and was active with many church activities.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Edna Rockhold; his sister, Barbara Clark; and his nephew, John Clark.
