Timothy H. Williams Jr.

1945 - 2021

WILLIAMS, Timothy H., Jr., age 75, died on March 13, 2021 at his home in Prince George, Va., from Alzheimer's. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lucille Stigal Williams and Timothy Hugh Williams Sr.; brother, David Williams; and granddaughter, Ainsley Evitts.

Born in Richmond, Tim spent most of his life in Prince George County after he served in the Air Force Reserves. Tim worked at Brown & Williamson Tobacco Corp. for 18 years. He then worked for Commonwealth/Columbia Gas for 18 years, from which he retired. His love of history took him to be a tour guide at Berkley Plantation in Charles City. He is fondly remembered as a coach for the girls' softball teams for 22 years throughout the PG Recreation Department. He was associated with many organizations such as the Jaycees, Hopewell Hunt Club, Home Builders Association, Burrowsville Ruritan Club and the Prince George Masonic Lodge.

Tim is survived by his spouse, Nancy Halloway-Williams; daughter, Eleanor "Elle" Williams; son, Timothy "Hugh" Williams III (Donna); and six loving grandchildren, TaylorErin, Andrew, Addison, Hugh IV, Ashley, Emily. Tim leaves his trusted sidekick and shadow, Bandit, who never left his side along with many family members and good friends.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 14 at 1 p.m. at Bermuda Memorial Park Cemetery in Enon.
