Virginia Nuckols
January 5, 1926 - July 17, 2025
Nuckols, Virginia Faudree "Cupsy" 99, of Manakin, Va., went to be with our Lord and Savior on July 17,2025. She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband Roggie E. Nuckols and her son Thomas E. Nuckols. Virginia is survived by her children, Peggy N. Jones (Junior), Charles R. Nuckols (Jean), Shirley N. Johnson (V.L.), Jerry R. Nuckols (Barbara), and Emett A. Nuckols (Elaine); 15 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and her brother, Frank Faudree. The family would like to thank Legacy hospice and Cupsy's caregivers: Patricia, Charlene, Katrice, and Carrie. The family would like to thank her faithful physician and friend Dr. Bambi Gladfelter.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday July 22, 2025 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at the west chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 11020 W. Broad Street. A funeral service will be conducted Wednesday July 23, 2025 at 11am at St. Matthews United Methodist Church. Interment to follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Centerville Fire and Rescue Squad Company #3.
