We knew Walter and Mae for many years, through church association. They served for several years managing our church welfare storehouse in the Richmond area, and served in many other ways throughout their lives. They were an example of Christ like love for all those around them. Mae was a true friend and we will miss her.

Mrs. Stafford was kind and loving. She was a very dedicated worker and always busy.
She absolutely made the best bread. She and Mr. Stafford helped many people including my family. I am sending many prayers to the family and I know she will live in each of their hearts and memories. Let your wonderful thoughts help you through this difficult time and the years to follow. My love and thoughts to each of you. Robin Gillespie and family,

I just read Mae´s obituary. I am very sorry. Jim and I send our love and condolences to the whole family.
Mae was my Visiting Teacher for several years. One year she brought my family a Bunny Cake for Easter. It was a big hit. She also brought us many other things over the years like delicious lima beans. I asked her her secret for cooking once, and she said, "Use lots of butter!"
