HAPPY UMI DAY! ALL THOUGH YOU WONT HERE IN THE FLEASH YOU WERE WITH US. IT WAS VERY HARD BUT WE CAME TOGETHER AND DID THE DAMN THING. WE LET OFF 58 BALLONS N SONG HAPPY B-DAY. Well Umi she did it. She walked across that stage. I wasn't there physically to witness it but I was there emotionally and mentally. Congrat to you and to Imani. She did it like we knew she would!!!!!!! Love you!!!!!!!

They finally did it!
Imani and Isaiah made the walk that we have been waiting on for "18 YEARS". And with this graduation brought the memory of Umi saying that on this day we were going to "BRING THE HOUSE DOWN". I know Umi was there to see her baby girl make that walk. Umi has raised AWESOME kids and have helped raised AWESOME KIDS ( u know she was the neighborhood mother)!!!!! We were truly blessed to have such a wonderful inspiration with us for so long and to continue to be with us and guide her children! Congrats Imani! Remember that Umi is just a spirit away waiting to guide you all to your next destination!
Stay strong during this GREAT TIME OF ACCOMPLISHMENT. Thats what she worked so hard for. To watch her children achieve one step at a time!

OMG Umi you wouldn't believe what Riah went out and did! If you were here you would slap the life outta her LOL!!!!!!!! She has gone out and got a tatoo on her side that says RIP UMI. Yeah ya girl done fell and bumped her head. I wasn't too upset because I felt your pressence and you telling me it could be worst than that and to leave that girl alone. Like you always do. Sunday is mother's day and boy is it going to be a hard one. I have been thinking about you a awful lot lately. Mondo was beautiful for her prom. I know you were looking down at her saying "that's my girl"! She did good. But hey, what did you expect? You know that girl has an eye for fashion just like you! Well I hope to see you real soon and continue to watch over us. Love you always!

Dear Umi,I know u know were having a really hard time right now,and its not something that will go away overnight.And no matter how hard we try,we cant think of anything that we can do to make all the fun times vanish.(u know its penlty of them)LOL!!! Umi, Umi, Umi I don't know where to begin. This is hurting me so much to know that you are no longer here with me. You have been there for me since I was a little girl. You were my mother, my friend my kids grandmother my everything. Riah is missing you like crazy, DJ is sending you loves and kisses out the window. I never realized that when I came to see you on 1/12/08 that was going to be my last time. I didn't know that when you ran your fingers through my hair and played with my fingers it was going to be the last time. It's so much that I didn't get a chance to tell you. I promise you I will continue to be there for Mike, Mani, Asha and everybody! Mike will be the brother that DJ will never have (LOL). There has not been a day that I have not thought and dreamnt about you. It's like you are there all the time. I know you are watching over us! You will be missed but never forgotten. To my "mother" Umi it hurts that you are gone, but I know you are here in spirit. I will always remember the conversations and fun we had. We celebrated just about everything together, You took me in as your son. You excepted me as one of your own. You were there for me when there was no one else. Umi " I Love You" so much.
