William Borinski Obituary

William A. "Bill" Borinski, 88, of West Point, Va., died Saturday, May 1, 2004. He served in World War II as a private in the Army. Bill was a life member of VFW Post #8356. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Ellen Trimmer Borinski; daughter and her husband, Virginia "Ginger" and Peter Andreu of Virginia Beach; four sons and their wives, Jacque and Patricia Borinski of Chesterfield, Mark and Mary Ellen Borinski of West Point, Wayne and Toni Borinski of West Point, David Borinski of Apopka, Fla.; two granddaughters, Sharon and her husband, Ric Kelley of Woodford, Va., Michelle Borinski of Chesterfield; grandson, Jason Borinski of California; great-grandson, Austin Kelley; step great-granddaughter, Lacy Kelley; two sisters, Virginia Borinski of Melbourne, Fla., Helen Taphorn of Richmond; two brothers, Theodore Borinski of Miami, Fla., and Edmund Borinski of San Diego, Calif. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, 11 a.m., at Vincent Funeral Home, 417 11th Street, West Point, Va. Interment in St. Theresa Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight, 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to St. Theresa Cemetery, 207 W. Euclid Blvd, West Point, Va.; or West Point Volunteer Fire and Rescue Squad, Box X, West Point, Va. 23181.
