Ellen Trimmer Borinski

Ellen Trimmer Borinski, 98, of West Point went to her heavenly home July 3, 2023. She was an avid gardener, growing beautiful flowers and vegetables that she was all too happy to gift generously to others. A woman of strong faith and a lifelong member of Colosse Baptist Church, Ellen's life was one of kindness, grace and love. She spent many years as a hardworking and devoted member of the VFW Women's Auxiliary and a volunteer at the nursing home. Above all, Ellen was a loving wife, mother, and friend to all. Her sweet and gentle spirit will be lovingly remembered.

Ellen was preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" Borinski; six siblings; and a granddaughter, Sharon Kelley. She is survived by her children, Jacque "Jack" Borinski (Patricia), Virginia "Ginger" Andreu (Peter), Mark Borinski (Mary Ellen), Wayne Borinski (Toni) and David Borinski (Darlene). She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jason, Michelle, Jenna and Kylie; great-grandchildren, Austin, Jakob and Emilie, with one more (Serina) on the way; as well as great-great-grandchildren, Serenity, Kash and Lilly.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM, Friday, July 7th at Vincent Funeral Home, 417 11th St., West Point, VA. A funeral service will be held 10 AM, Saturday, July 8th at the funeral home, and interment will follow in St. Theresa Cemetery, West Point. A reception will be held at Colosse Baptist Church, 23945 King William Rd., King William, VA.
