William Martin Davis

March 19, 1938 - April 4, 2025

William Martin Davis, age 87, of Greenville, SC, passed away April 4, 2025, at his home. Born in Chesterfield County, VA, he graduated from Manchester High School, class of 1956. He was a graduate of St. Petersburg Junior College, and owned an Office Design and Furnishing business for most of his life. Bill was preceded in death by his son William Hunter Davis and is survived by his wife, Heather Fleming, and his children from previous marriages and grandchildren: Leslie Spruance, her son James Spruance of VA Beach; Christopher Davis, his wife Vanessa and their children Hunter, Mia, Lulu and Harper of Brisbane, Australia; his daughter Taylor Mancuso, her husband PJ and their children Autumn, Amelia, Anna Kate and Gabriel of Traveler's Rest, SC.; his stepchildren Katie Daniels, her husband Matthew and their children Ellie and Alex of Denver, CO and Eric Gottleman also of Denver, CO. He was also very close to his nieces and their families, Mary Beth Davis, Sheri Reno, Bobby Bauserman and Tiffany Mercer. Bill will be laid to rest in Princess Anne Memorial Park, VA Beach, April 19, 2025 at 12 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Hunter Davis Memorial Scholarship Fund through the Hampton Roads Community Foundation. Gifts can be given online or mailed to 101 West Main Street, Suite 4500, Norfolk, VA 23510.
